VBS Boomerang Express 2009 Promo

Behind the Scenes

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in the VBS Committee meetings? Do these Commies (as they are called) hold serious, sombre, professional/business type of meetings? Do they play politics? Do they fight to get their piece of mind across and defend their ideas tooth and nail to the last blood?

Or are they a bunch of happy go lucky come as you may group that resembles a Woodstock Gang? Do they really give each another funny nick names? Do they really eat and drink funny stuff at the meetings like fermented goat milk salad and cat-poo coffee?

Oh yeah the Queen's got a duck too!

Left: Hee..yah.. karate chop..that's how we stun them for the promo...

You've got to plan the railway line right or else it will lead to nowhere...
Below: Yeap that's about it... think we got the promo nailed down..guffaw!

Who said serving God can't be fun?

Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus!

Hello folks! Welcome to the first post of Vacation Bible School 2009 at FBC. The committee is already working in full swing since June, and we have many exciting events planned in the coming months.

This year's theme ( as you may have figured out from the title!) is based in Australia. As the kids get a glimpse of the amazing scenery and unique country, they will also discover the awesome truth that Jesus Christ desires to have a personal relationship with them. Throughout the week, kids will stay on a single track of study as they learn about the life of peter and how he came to know Jesus.

Beginning with Peter's first introduction to Jesus, kids will follow Peter's growing relationship with his Savior and Lord. Kids will be encouraged to begin their own journey with Jesus. Whether they are just being introduced to Jesus, are ready to begin a life following Jesus, or have already accepted Jesus as Savior, kids will discover how important it is to have a relationship with God's Son. No matter where kids find them themselves they will learn that "It All Comes Back to Jesus".

Watch out for this space. More exciting news to follow.....
